Breakthrough in the field of intensification - GDK-170

Breakthrough in the field of intensification - GDK-170

Gas generator GDK-100GDK-100 arrangement:

1 – pressure and temperature gauge;

2 – cargos;

3 – head;

4 – charge CCPG-85, CCPG-64, CCPG-38- main;

5 – Igniting charge CCPG-54, CCPG-40;

6 – detonating cord;

7 – cable;

8 – explosive cartridge;

9 – head.

Unlike existing analogues, CPG-100 allows to process in two stages.

The first stage is characterized by a high rate of pressure rise, resulting from ignition of the propellant charge of detonating cord. A network of detrital cracks is formed in the hole.

The second stage is characterized by a low rate pressure rise, but increased duration of its effects due to the burning of the main charges, which are inflamed by the products of combustion of mixed charges. This provides further development of cracks into the formation.

GDK-100 gas generator is effectively used in the medium and low-permeability formation, in the reservoir beds with deteriorated reservoir properties of the near-well zone occurred in the course of drilling, development and operation of wells.

Operation without engaging WO operations crew

The technology of "STS-GeoService" company allows treating the formation in wells with drawn producing string and packer installed system. Works are carried out with the help of small-sized generator CPG-100-38 without the involvement of Workover Operations crew, using geophysical lifts and platforms, as well as coiled tubing units.

Gas dynamics fracturing technology by gas generators GDK-100 has the following advantages:

  1. Mathematical modeling of the treatment by the application of the unique software.
  2. Cyclic (two or three tips) treatment with the application of self-contained measuring equipment under the control of our supervisor.
  3. STS-GeoService executes the technological support of the operations: plan and report drawing and presence of our supervisor at the well.
  4. There is not any risk of casing or cement damage;
  5. It is possible to work in open borehole and in cased borehole
  6. It is possible to work through the tubing without well repair team.
  7. It is possible to work through the tubing without well repair team.
  8. It is possible to work through the tubing without well repair team.
  9. As opposed to old charges, GDK-100 charges material is high-performance composite solid fuel. Combustion products of this fuel are hydrofluoric and hydrochloric acids which helps to fix the cracks.
  10. Low cost of works.
  11. Low duration of works.
  12. Special heavy equipment is not required.
  13. High efficiency stimulation after the fracturing.

In order to make technology of the gas-dynamic formation treatment with powder generator of pressure GDK-170 more efficient, supervising control is practiced by the company.

Supervising is a contemporary way of competent management in thermogas chemical treatment of formation. The treatment is used for increasing the flow rate of producing wells and raising the injecting capacity well.

Should any unforeseen situation occur, STS-GeoService supervisor would immediately suggest an adequate solution. Subsequently, supervisor maintains control over the decision-making process, providing control over the quality of work of a geophysical party.

The advantages of the service:
  • Precise fulfillment of the technological plan for gas-dynamic formation treatment
  • Less time needed for formation treatment with GDK-170 pressure generator, for the work of a contracting agency is optimized
  • The object (well) is developed with minimal risks of emergencies
  • Optimized number of round-trips due to the constant control over treatment process
  • Correcting combustion charges arrangement in GDK-170 generator, in accordance with results of the previous round-trip; decision-making process concerning optimal depth for setting pressure generator
  • Safety requirements and the usage of personal protection equipment are controlled when personnel works with the generator. It helps to reduce the injuries to the zero
The Customer is provided a report based on the supervisor's report. It contains precise information about gas-dynamic formation treatment, with the analysis of each round-trip.
Supervisor's activity lies only in Customer's interests and is aimed at efficient usage of the Customer's financial and time resources.
